Postcard Sharing Activity – Sister School Project
As part of our Sister School Project, our students participated in a postcard sharing activity with Zhong Xiao Elementary School. This project was a collaborative effort between the foreign English teachers at both schools, working together to create a meaningful and authentic English learning experience.
Students wrote and designed their own postcards, introducing themselves, sharing information about their school life, and describing their interests. Through this activity, students were able to practice their writing skills in a real-world context while also learning about students from another part of Taiwan.
The exchange helped build excitement and motivation, as students looked forward to receiving postcards from their partner school. It also encouraged cultural awareness, communication, and a sense of connection beyond the classroom.
This project highlights the value of collaboration and provides students with an opportunity to use English in a fun, purposeful, and engaging way.
